Hankyu Travel launches a new business to reduce CO2 emission for MICE and group travel

Hankyu Travel International launched a new business to propose programs to reduce CO2 emission for MICE and group travel, offering opportunities to use environment-friendly accommodations and transportations and a carbon-offset scheme. Also, the travel company will support hotels or shopping malls to procure renewable energies with a one-stop service.

Hankyu Travel has signed agent contracts with Carbon Consulting for J-Credit, a governmental program to certificate reduction or absorption of CO2 emission as credit and with Digital Grid to use Digital Grid Platform (DGP) that connects renewable energy providers with corporates.
