JAL will raise domestic airfares by 3 to 8% on April 15 due to rise in fuel cost

JAL announced that it will raise domestic flight airfares for a year from April 15 2022 due to rise in fuel cost mainly. For normal ticket for adult, discount for round-trip ticket, discount for shareholder ticket, the airfares will be raised by about 8%, and for normal ticket for child, JAL Business Ticket and e-business, they will be raised by about 3%.

In addition, upgrade fares on a flight day will be raised from 1,000 JPY on all routes to 1,000 JPY, 2,000 JPY or 3,000 JPY depending on a route for Class-J and from 8,000 JPY on all routes to 10,000 JPY or 12,000 JPY depending on a route for First Class.
