Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that the number of Japanese overseas travelers was up 0.1% year on year, reaching 1,464,000 in October 2017 (preliminary figures), and that the total for the first ten months of 2017 was 14,878,500 (+4.9%). About 2.24 million more travelers will suffice to reach the result of last year (17,116,420 travelers).
