Japan Travel and Tourism Association and Values, an Internet behavior analyzer, conducted a survey about the visitors of 47 prefectures’ official tourist information sites in July and August 2017. According to the result, "GO TOKYO," operated by Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, was the top by number of visitors, followed by "SHIGA・BIWAKO" by Biwako Visitors Bureau, and "Enjoy Niigata" by Niigata Prefectural Tourism Association.

"GO TOKYO" had the most visitors in their 40s, 50s and 60s  whereas, "SHIGA・BIWAKO" was the top by number of visitors in their 20s and 30s. 

The top 10 official tourist information sites of Japanese prefectures are as follows (visitors in July & August 2017 / visitors in July & August 2016 / year-on-year growth):

1. GO TOKYO (517,000 / 703,000 / 73.5%)

2. SHIGA・BIWAKO（483,000 / 494,000 / 97.8%）

3. Enjoy Niigata（367,000 / 541,000 / 67.8%）

4. Official Travel Guide Yamanashi（350,000 / 463,000 / 75.6%）

5. OSAKA-INFO（345,000 / 344,000 / 100.3%）

6. Kanko Mie（332,000 / 514,000 / 64.6%）

7. Go! NAGANO（320,000 / 512,000 / 62.5%）

8. IBARAKI NAVI（316,000 / 412,000 / 76.7%）

9. Tourism Information in Toyama（273,000 / 321,000 / 85.0%）

10. Explore Okayama（271,000 / 322,000 / 84.2%）
