Japan Tourism Agency has received an application for sustainable tourism contents development program, which supports part of expenses on facility development or purchases of goods necessary for sustainable tourism.

The program aims at creation of sustainable tourism contents for travelers to realize, autonomous area management by tourism contents using local resources and establishment of a scheme to benefit local areas economically and socially.

The subsidy ratio is up to 5 million JPY a plan for purchase of goods and up to 50 million JPY a plan for facility development.
