JAL will launch Narita-Chicago services on May 31 2025, and its group airline JTA launch its first international services to Taipei

JAL announced that it will launch daily services between Narita and Chicago on May 31 2025 to meet growing demand between Japan and North America and connection demand between Southeast Asia or India and North America. 

Japan Transocean Air (JTA) a JAL Group airline, will launch its first international services between Naha and Taipei by the end of FY2025 (March 31 2026) to meet high travel demand from Taiwan. Details, including a launch day or frequency, will be announced later.

In addition, JAL will increase frequencies to daily flights on Narita-San Diego and -Bengaluru routes in the period between March 30 and October 25 and Kansai-Los Angeles and -Honolulu and Chubu-Honolulu routes in the period between July 18 and October 25. In the period between July 1 and 31, Narita-Honolulu flights will be double daily operation. 

JAL will begin using the latest A350-1000 on Haneda-Paris route from May 1 and Haneda-Los Angeles route in the summer schedule. 

On the domestic flight network, JAL will increase frequencies to two flights a day on Itami-Misawa route and to four flights a day on Itami-Sapporo route in the limited periods. 

The 787-8 with JAL First Class Service will be used on Haneda-Miyako route in August 2025.
