JTB has started selling ‘regenerative tourism’ tours in Canada, which is titled ‘Tsunagari tabi (relationship travel in English), based on a partnership agreement with Destination Canada to promote sustainable tourism and to create new-styled tourism.
The LOOK JTB tours deliver sustainability stories for the future in Canada to Japanese travelers, such as study of indigenous cultures escorted by a local indigenous guide, visiting farm-to-table restaurants or staying in ‘Green Key Program’ certified hotels.
