Peach Aviation, Japanese LCC, takes advantage of AI for 24-hours and 365 days automatic phone service

Peach Aviation,  Japanese LCC, started the demonstration test for an automatic phone service using AI technology on August 24 2016. The service, available for 24 hours and in 365 days, is to provide flight information by an automatic phone system instead of operators for smoother phone connection to cope with an avalanche of inquiry calls when cancelations or delays happen due to bad weather or so forth.

The AI for the system is developed jointly developed by JSOL, taking advantage of Google Cloud Speech AI.

The demonstration will run by 23:00 on October 31 2016.
