‘Prefecture ranking in tourism attractions,’ revealed as one of the domestic travel survey by Jalan Research Center, that the most-satisfied prefecture in 2023 was Kagoshima with 92.2% answering ‘Satisfied.’ The 2nd was Ehime, and the third Ishikawa.
By category,, the most-satisfied prefecture in local food was Ishikawa, followed by Fukuoka and Kagoshima.
The top in attractive local souvenir was also Ishikawa with many answers of ‘gilt products,’ ‘sake,’ ‘seafoods’ and ‘local Japanese teas,’ followed by Okinawa and Hokkaido.
In attractive accommodation, Oita with many famous onsen sites was No.1, followed by Okinawa with many resort hotels and Kagoshima with well-known onsen sites.
The most-valued prefecture in local hospitality was Okinawa, where many people said that not only business operators but also local people were kind. The 2nd was Miyazaki, and the 3rd Iwate.
In attraction and experience, Chiba was top for children, young people and adults because there are famous them-parks and large-scale shopping malls.
