According to Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of Japanese departures in July 2014 decreased 2.8% compared with the same month last year to become 1.41 million (preliminary figure.) The figure kept decreasing in 2014 until it turned upward in May, but turned downward again in June and July.
The total sum of the Japanese departures during January to July 2014 was 9.43 million with 2.8% decrease compared with last year.
