Airbnb hosts offer secondary shelters to victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake through the non-profit organization

Airbnb has begun offering its listed homes in Ishikawa Prefecture to victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake as secondary shelters in cooperation with Ishikawa Prefecture. Non-profit organization Airbnb.org plays a main role with a host community in Ishikawa Prefecture. Victims can use listed houses for 29 nights max. 

Airbnb.org is responsible for all staying costs. Social business coordinator RCF helps victims meet hosts. 

Airbnb.org will consider building a framework for the first shelter victims to move to another accommodation facilities in Ishikawa Prefecture.
