JNTO said that Thai travelers to Hokkaido increased because they have already recognized that June is the best month to travel in Hokkaido. In Singapore, a good holiday sequence including the national holiday on June 1 in addition to a variety of promotional campaigns motivated travelers to go Japan. From Malaysia, many incentive tours of domestic companies visited Japan. Travelers from Indonesia to Japan resulted in year-on -year growth despite overall reduction of overseas travelers from Indonesia.
