The latest Facebook user survey, conducted in January this year by Aun Consulting offering a global online marketing service, shows that Facebook users increased only in China and UAE but reduced in 31 countries in comparison with the previous survey in September 2014. Facebook was used by 22 million Japanese, which were unchanged from the previous survey. One of the reasons for the reduction of users worldwide may be that Facebook has already been nothing special for users, however it is noteworthy whether or not a coming keyword search service can put an end to the downward trend, according to Aun Consulting.
Facebook users of major countries are as follows (over the previous survey): Japan 22 million (unchanged) Korea 12.4 million (-11.43%) China 980,000 (+11.33%) Thailand 26 million (-13.33%) Indonesia 56 million (-17.65%) Vietnam 22 million (-15.38%) India 102 million (-7.27%) UAE 5 million (+4.17%) Australia 12.6 million (-5.97%) U.S.A. 176 million (-3.30%) Canada 19 million (-10.64%) Brazil 84 million (-10.64%) Great Britain 34 million (-5.56%) France 26 million (-13.33%) Germany 26 million (-7.14%) Spain 20 million (unchanged) Egypt 18.2 million (-9.00%) South Africa 10.4 million (-7.14%)
