Japan Tourism Agency checked registration status of DMOs that has been registered for three or more years under the new guideline staring Aril 2020, which requires more rigorous conditions every three years.
As a result, the agency approved registration renewals of all 41 registered DMOs, while canceling registrations of seven DMO candidates.
