Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) reported that the number of Japanese overseas travelers was up 5.2% year on year, reaching 1,558,000 in July 2018 (preliminary figures). The total for the first five months of 2018 reached 10.341.500 (+4.4%), reaching 10 million one earlier month than a year ago.
