Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) announced that the total number of Japanese overseas travelers in 2014 was down 3.3% year-on-year to 16,903,000, marking year-on-year reductions in all months except May (+1.2%). The overseas travel market of Japan suffered downturns for two years in a row.
