Marriott renovates 14 UNIZO Holdings’ hotels in Japan to Four Points Express by Sheraton, the first brand in APAC

KKR, a global investment firm, will purchase 14 UNIZO Holdings’ hotels in Japan, and renovate to  Four Points Express by Sheraton, working together with Marriott International. They will be the first Four Points Express by Sheraton brand in APAC, offering affordable prices for a variety of travelers. 

The 14 hotels are located in Hakodate, Morioka, Utsunomiya, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe and Hakata. After the renovations are completed in late 2024, a total of more than 3,600 rooms will be available as the new Marriott brand.
