Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has decided to disclose more FF-Data or Flow of Foreigners-Data than before for more flexible analysis. The Ministry will disclose annual FF-Data by quarter, upgrading from FF-Data in a week in the autumn today, which triples samples to 43,000.
Also, the extension of data discloser will make possible cross tabulation for destinations, nationalities, purposes or transportations and touring analysis.
The table below is an example of breakdown of transportation in each region based on FF-Data in 2014.
