Booking.com apologizes the unpaid matter to partners, explaining it results from shift to a new payment system

Booking.com released a apology letter to partners regarding delay of payment to partners and explained the cause.

According to the apology letter, the unpaid matter happened in the process of shifting to a new payment system to secure higher security. The OTA said that it was necessary to carry out essential improvements and maintenance works. 

Most of the payment have been restarted, but payments to a part of partners have still been delayed due to an unexpected technical problem. 

To take care of partners who have not been paid yet, booking.com opened a direct contact. 

booking.com said, “Our priority is always to keep on-time payment to partners. We apologize to a part of our partners for causing them so much trouble with the delay of payments by the system renewal.”
