Major DMOs in western Japan work together to attract long stay international travelers

Setouchi DMO and Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organization signed an agreement on partnership for inbound travel promotions on September 2 2019. Geographically connecting Setonaikai area with Kyushu, they are trying to encourage international travelers to stay longer and visit more destinations in western Japan. 

Taking advantage of the relationships with travel companies or media in Europe or U.S.A. Setouchi DOM has established, Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organization will open local agencies in Germany, France, U.K. and U.S.A. They expect that the partnership will develop promotional activities with scale economics.
