The most-wanted non-alcohol beverage in Japan among travelers from Taiwan and Hong Kong is ‘milk’

The latest survey on popular non-alcohol beverages in Japan among travelers from Taiwan and Hong Kong, which was conducted by geelee media group, a tourism information website provider for Taiwan and Hong Kong, finds that the most popular non-alcohol beverage in traveling in Japan is ‘milk ‘ with the ratio of 71%, followed by ‘matcha (57.8%),’  ‘coffee (44.3%)’ and ‘green tea (42.3%).’

They said that the quality of Japanese milk is very high with rich and tasty, and some of them pick particular milk brands.

Also, the most popular merchandise in convenience stores among them is ‘dairy,’ such as milk, yogurt or cheese, with the ratio of 80.2%, followed by so-called ‘hot snacks,’ such as fried chicken or croquette.
